There is something incredibly special about an all ladies' competition and the Ladies International Grand Prix (LGP) is a great example of that! Ladies from all over the world come together through their passion for Olympic Skeet, forming a strong bond through their shared experiences on and off the range that stands the test of time.
Great Britain was privileged to host the event on its 33rd occasion, featuring the competition's founder Ylva Jansson ! The competition started with an Opening Ceremony where the LGP flag was raised and the traditional cake was cut! After shooting the first day of competition, as if they had not tested themselves enough, the ladies headed to the Escape Rooms in Woking. Luckily everyone got out within the hour and no one got locked in! Day 2 brought the last two rounds of competition followed by full flash-target finals. The standard of shooting was very high and we witnessed two tremendous nail biting finals. Congratulations to the gold medalists:- Maria Olofsson (SWE) in B Class; Phoebe Bodley-Scott in A Class; Bethany Norton in Juniors; Maria Olofsson (SWE), Corinne Davies-Cooke (GBR) and Jessica Burgess (GBR) in the Team event. The Closing Ceremony brought the event to an end; the LGP flag was handed to next years hosts
Sweden, accompanied with the competition's "Hand in Hand" anthem. We would like to thank all shooters, both novice and experienced, who travelled far and wide to compete with us, enjoy friendships and share cake!

This competition comes together every year with the help and support from the Olympic Skeet community and companies who dedicate their time, products and resources into keeping this event alive.
